Father Christmas is coming back to Wheelock Hall Farm!
We are so excited to bring a little extra Christmas magic to Wheelock Hall Farm this year with the return of our Santa’s Grotto experience! Step inside our magical grotto, especially created within our indoor play barn, where Father Christmas and his helpers will be waiting to welcome you and your little ones.
Santa’s Grotto is most suitable for children up to 9 years of age, but everyone is welcome. Every child will have the chance to meet Father Christmas and receive a carefully selected and lovingly wrapped gift, with different presents available for different age groups. You can choose the appropriate age range for your child when booking.
Your Santa’s Grotto ticket includes full-day entry to Wheelock Hall Farm, so you can make a whole day of your Christmas visit! The farm is open every day from 9:00am until 6:30pm. You can arrive early and enjoy the farm before your grotto visit, or stay and play afterwards, or you can do both — the choice is yours.
There will be plenty to see and do while you wait for your magical meeting with Santa. Our elves will be on hand to entertain the children with letter writing, Christmas crafts and photo opportunities, all of which is included in the admission price. Afterwards, you are welcome to continue enjoying the animals, play areas and shop until 6:30pm.
Our Christmas-filled shop is packed with gifts, toys and collectables, and our tea room is open until 5:00pm (hot food served until 4pm) serving delicious fresh meals, children’s lunch boxes, hot and cold drinks and snacks. And don’t forget to try our chips — we use our very own home-grown potatoes!
